Juju Day 8: +343
Chapter 2: Total 2940

Slower going than I wanted but I was able to map out the action for the end of chapter 2. The main char has 6 fixed points to get to and I mapped out the time he had for each, and the end destinations. Now I just have to write out the getting there. I figure I can just tackle each one at a time and slowly make my way through the chapter. I really want to get to chapter 3 as that's where the big world changing "event" happens, and well that will be fun to write.

Wrote with Anjali today at the cafe. We talked respective books, and her short story morphed into a possible novel which is cool. Our discussions sparked a lot of thought and it was good to be able to vocalize concepts. We are both using the same item in very different ways in our stories so it was neat to see the different ways the topic will be covered. But I had an epiphany that will help solve an issue I was trying to sort out in chapter 3, so that was good as well :-)

Then I wandered off and saw Magic Mike with some co-workers. What a ridiculous mess. Matthew McConaughey was kind of the best thing about that movie he was SO over the top... Channing wasn't bad. The main girl, Cody Lyon was absolutely soulless, and really hard to watch. The whole movie was odd, I mean it's a movie about strippers, let's not pretend it's more than that by trying to show some consequences, or at least try not to do it in a throw-away manner. Boogie Nights was a good example of doing it right... Magic Mike... not so much... But anywho... it was a good laugh...

Practiced my solo a few times, I think I know what I'm doing. Will find out tomorrow but I have to get up damn early and start costuming... ugh, I'm so over it.

I kind of want to work on Juju tomorrow so I'm kind of glad that Sub!John Smonday is back, craving to work on a story makes it that much better when you get back onto it... Hopefully I can get a substantial amount done on Sub!John... one advantage of performing so early is that I get to go home early...

Might try hauling the laptop to work on Monday to get some post work writing done before I head home. Still trying to sort out how to maximize production with less distractions... Finding a place without wifi might be a good idea...
