Hrm, well I can tell what comes easier to me. Sub!John for the Win! No blood, no bloodstone. I hope I can get Juju flowing like that. I've got a solid start, got the intro up to the initial interaction going. One difference is that I've been playing this fic over in my head for a few months so I have a much stronger grasp on the action to be had... I have one more day and if I can get some lunch time writing done maybe I can get about 1K done tomorrow too and the start of some sexytimes. I'm really happy to be doing a one-shot. Tonally this feels much different, perhaps a mix between Frustration and Bespoke. Lighter probably. It's my attempt at a One-shot Fluff Sub!John. But it fits into the continuity, what happens in this will lead up to the giant fic I have planned after this.

Today was a good on the general writing front. Spent the morning walking around a lake with AnJali talking fics and writing. Spoke about possible Johnlock prospects and original fics and it was fun. After I came home and started 3:50AM then did some editing on Nonny's chapter 8 of The Light... Then back to my fic. And now it's 10:30 and I need to watch True Blood and go the hell to bed. Downloaded all of NewSub!John onto my Kindle, it's odd to see it in that format. Seems more substantial in tiny print, although I know that it's not really.

Holy shit, I am tired...
