Ahead, and always just out of sight.

A Day Not at the Beach: Day 2
Total: 367
At last, my home is my own again, I had my last writers group meeting and now I'm writing again. IRONY! Still working on the same story, though the setting has pivoted. I think I have a setting issue/problem. Thankfully the story will work almost wherever, I just need to find the right setting for me to fall into a groove. I might have found one. Trying to get back to writing an hour a night, as my back has been cooperating. (Yay bones!) I also learned that suddenly trying to drink 66 oz of water in a day takes some adjusting to! Holy crap! I'm going to float away.
Beginnings are hard and perhaps my downfall. I will be interested to see if this start sticks, none seem to ever do. I've got a mini action outline down and a direction and my Spotify writing soundtrack has expanded to 149 tracks...I just want to get to the crux of the matter, but set up is essential, or I suppose I'd just be writing sketches... This is kind of like working an atrophied muscle, writing again, and trying to find my character heads and John!head. I'm sure I'll get it all wrong and have to beat it into shape. I like beating words. The spitting out of them, not so much. I don't know if its getting any easier but at least it's getting done-ish. Looking at my avatar reminds me that I have two more days of long hair, then it's all gonzo. Not sure if it's going to be as short as John Watson gonzo, but ten years of hair will go away! So many changes. But writing again is another good one!
